The 2025 Philippine Space Week Theme is “#YamangKalawakan ay Likas sa Maunlad na Kinabukasan”. This year’s theme recognized the wealth of space– yamang kalawakan—as a natural and vital part of building a better future. From satellites that provide data for agriculture and disaster response, to technologies that connect communities and expand learning, space science and innovation were no longer distant dreams—they were woven into our daily lives.

Grounded in the vision of PhilSA, this year’s celebration highlighted how SSTA drive climate resilience, food security, disaster response, stronger industries, better connectivity, and smarter public services—paving the way for a knowledge-based and innovation-driven future. It also reinforced the Philippines’ active role in the peaceful global space community.
